Andrew Zeller earned many honors throughout his high school football career at Red Lion, such as YAIAA first team, PIAA second team All-State defensive tackle, and even Apple Ford Player of the Game. In addition to football, Zeller also threw for the varsity track team during his senior year at Red Lion and beat his own record of 47’ 6’’ during the YAIAA championship.
Zeller, now attends the University of Maryland in his sophomore year and plays for the Maryland Terps football team as an offensive linemen. He says, “Playing college football is just like living out a dream, sometimes it does not even feel realistic. But overall, being a student athlete at the University of Maryland has been great.”
Zeller was able to start 3 games thus far beginning with a memorable performance against the WVU’s Moutaineers, in which Zeller had a memorable block that lead to Stefon Diggs 56-yard touchdown.“Throughout this year playing for Maryland has given me many opportunities to exceed on and off the field. With the merge from the ACC to the Big 10, it will only create more opportunities for me to succeed.” said Zeller.
Andrew Zeller (66) is enrolled at the University of Maryland, which is where he plays football for the Terps as offensive guard.
