By Ben Otte Co-Editor-In-Chief The York College Grumbacher Center was the Lady Lions' home on Saturday evening for the 2nd Annual Donnie Swartz Classic in a non-conference match-up versus Trinity High School. The event was held in honor of Swartz, a former YAIAA basketball official who spent 38 years officiating before his death in March 2011. The Shamrocks took over an early Red Lion lead in the third quarter after limiting the Lady Lions to only four points. However, those numbers would quickly be reversed as Red Lion proved to be relentless on both sides of the ball forcing the Shamrocks to only two scoring opportunities in the last period. "It was a big win for them tonight," head coach Don Dimoff said. "We just need to continue to clean things up and just take it one game at a time." Morgan Kuehne was the catalyst for her offense as she scored a game-high 20 points, nearly half of those coming from the free throw line. Devan Horka dished in 11 points while Courtney Dimoff added 9 on the night.
