By Shawn Gunarich Multimedia Editor Technical education teacher Brandon Krone is welcomed into the fold of Red Lion teachers. Brandon Krone, a graduate from Dover Area High School and four year student of Millersville University, settled into his new home right here at RLASD. Krone will be teaching digital photography and video production classes following the departure of Mr. Keith Blackwell. Despite his newcomer status, he has become a part of the TV studio. Krone has had a passion for teaching since he worked with his high school technology education teacher Tim Smith. “I liked the lifestyle of a teacher,” Krone said. “I have liked helping people it just seemed right to do it for a living.” Krone also enjoys his down time as he is an avid hunter and fisherman. “I’m passionate about fishing and hunting, but my favorite thing to do is to race motocross.” Krone is a semi-professional ATV motocross racer, racing in professional circuits all around America. Krone is a very passionate teacher as well, “I like being a leader and inspiration to the kids. "Being a role model is important,” Krone said. “These kids look up to me as a role model, and that is important for me so I can get them to where they wanna be.” Krone looks forward to teaching at Red Lion and working in the TV studio. Mr. Krone starts his teaching career by introducing new ideas to the technology classroom.
