Social Media & Marketing Editor It’s easy to try to be a better person, but how can we, as members of society, REALLY better ourselves and listen to both sides? In many ways, it’s easier than most think. With the advent of technology, we, as a society, have the opportunity to share more information than ever before. Newspapers are being replaced with news sites, the radio is being replaced by TV, and social media has provided a copious amount of platforms to which we take in our news.

Senior Editor In our world today, it has become blatantly obvious that there is an incredible divide amongst the human race. Neighbor’s opinions conflict with neighbors, friends opinions conflict with friends, and even family members find themselves arguing around the dinner table about who did what in the news. These types of disagreements are inevitable, as people who put themselves in positions of power open themselves up to criticism towards the choices they make. Not everyone is going to approve of their actions, nor of those who support them. By Carly Guise
Editor-in-Chief I’ve been attempting to write this since the beginning of July, trying to encapsulate the exact way in which I wish to describe what happened. I’m on what is at least my fourth venture, and the words have yet to come tumbling through my fingers to this keyboard. Back in June, which seems like decades ago, I went to what I can call at the very least a summer camp. I never went to summer camps as a kid, so that probably isn’t right, but until I figure out how to introduce its real name and purpose - it was a summer camp. But it was so much better than any summer camp I’ve ever heard of or seen in movies. |
