“All that we know is being twins,” sophomore Mitchell Helf said. “But it is good to know that you always have someone there for you that looks like you.”
But what makes these two different is that they run, and they do it fast. Mitch and Garrett Helf are currently on the Red Lion Track team and are key components to the team’s success. They even participate on the team’s 4x100m relay and together, along with sophomore Jerome Jessup and junior Zachary Crossland, and have run the third fastest time ever for the event, 43.6 seconds. “Being twins really helped our 4x100,” sophomore Garrett Helf said. “The competition in practice is great between us since we are basically the same speed.” Whether it is at home, practice, or a meet, the Helf brothers are together. And they do not plan on changing that anytime soon.
