Harry Potter is a name that has been etched into the hearts of millions across the world.
The famous fictional wizard is a beloved childhood--and adulthood--staple that is most known for his seven-book long fight against the Dark Lord Voldemort. His story is one that ended happily, or at least that’s what readers were led to believe.
In a new play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” it’s revealed that the Chosen One is really just like everyone after all. An overworked employee at the Ministry of Magic, Harry struggles to connect with his second son and middle child, Albus.
Hallucinations of her boyfriend still being alive. Having visions of people dying and then it actually happening in real life shortly after. Nightmares that give her little pieces of memory from the accident. Are these occurrences supernatural clues to lead her into the truth of what happened that night of the accident, or is she just losing her mind from post traumatic stress disorder?
The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin is a fast paced thriller that keeps reader’s interest right from the first page and all the way until the end of the book. It keeps you guessing what will happen next which makes it a real page turner. It’s also able to develop the characters while still moving the plot forward, and making it quite interesting.
Overall, this book has something in it for everyone. It is very interesting and mysterious, while also having other elements people may enjoy such as romance and drama. There wasn’t much not to like about this book. Highly recommended!
