Juniors Chloe Wise and Julie Tran were selected as the students of the month by the Red Lion and Dallastown Rotary Club. Chloe WiseBy Rachel Lau Senior Editor Junior Chloe Wise was one women chosen for the Rotary’s February student of the month. She has many interests in and outside of school, and is well-rounded student. She has been in band since fourth grade and plays the clarinet. Wise is also a chair of mini-THON, and joined the fight because of her cousin. “My cousin had brain cancer when she was a toddler, so I think it’s a really good cause.” She is a leader of the science olympiad as well and helps her team prepare for various competitions. She would like to attend Millersville University to become a history teacher, or HACC to become a nurse. If she goes into the history field, she wants to teach American history because her dad used to take her on tours of different historical hotspots. “I like helping people, both of my parents are teachers which made me want to be a teacher growing up.” With her church, Wise decided to go on more than a few mission trips. They have built decks, roofs, done indoor work, porches, scraping, painting, and flooring. They traveled to Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts in Pennsylvania. When asked who her inspiration was, she said it was her aunt because she is a good role model, a nice person, and she has always gotten through the troubles in her life. Julie TranBy Molly Merson

She aims to continue her work ethic in college and hopefully get into the college of her dreams.
