BUY A SNACK: Buy someone a cookie that are sold on Fridays in the lobby. You could also buy someone candy that is sold in the lobby after seventh period. In addition, buy a friend or stranger a snack at lunch. HELP OUT AN ORGANIZATION: Raise awareness for a specific cause. You could help out with Minithon, The Red Cross Club, or Aevidum, by making posters, and coming together with the cause and creating announcements to be shown to the whole school. LEND A HAND TO THE CUSTODIANS: Help out the Janitors. Pick up after yourself in the cafeteria. If you or a person drops a piece of garbage at lunch take the time to grab it and throw it away. Also, making the extra step to ask the janitors if they need help wiping the tables after the lunch shifts, can really make a difference. USE YOUR MANNERS: Hold open doors for people, and use your manners. If you see a student walking closely behind you hold open the door for them. Also, if someone holds open a door for you take the time to thank them. Say please when you ask for something, and thank you when it’s given to you. HELP A TEACHER: Help a teacher pass out papers. If you see a teacher passing out graded work, take the time to ask them if they would like help completing the task.
