Junior Brendan Kilgore was one of the two students chosen for the January student of the month. His life has revolved around music for quite sometime.
He started participating in band in elementary school and then transitioned into marching band for the past three years at the high school, playing the baritone.
Kilgore is also involved in the musical, and will obtain the lead role of Tommy in this year’s ‘Music Man’. “A lot of my friends are in musical and I was on stage crew last year and wanted to try out,” Kilgore said. “Life is worth the risk.”
In his free time he likes to spend time with his family and friends. When he’s with his family, they all play guitar together at home or at certain events.
His favorite vacation spot is South Carolina and his favorite food is tacos. When it comes down to his favorite subject in school, he likes any physical science class.
After graduating, Brendan hopes to go to college and major in Business Management.
